Four stars only due to initial frustration BUT five stars once you undo a tiny piece of Velcro!Okay so after reading another review about loosening fabric I was determined to make this work. If you undo the long piece of Velcro under the seat, remove it from the plastic hook on the side (bottom circle), and re-Velcro it loosely as shown in the top circle as to not allow the straps to drag or be caught, it loosens the fabric just enough to allow the adapter to attach and detach easily. Without this fix, the elastic is too tight to allow the adapter to work properly. That being said, there is no need to remove all of the fabric from the stroller as the company suggests, just a simple loosening from below will enable it to become compatible once again. As soon as your child is big enough to use the stroller without the infant car seat adapter, go ahead and retighten the Velcro and you’re set. Good luck!This adapter should most definitely work with your stroller and car seat, I have a 2021 City Mini GT2 and the adapter fits. I also have the Peg Perego 4-35 Viaggio Lounge Car Seat and it fits on the adapter with no issues. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY STABLE!!**THE YELLOW CIRCLED PICTURES IS WHAT MY STROLLER HAS**In the beginning, it was hard to attach the adapter onto the stroller. We'd forcefully push the adapter onto the slots, one side would click and one side wouldn't click or both sides would click but when we'd pull the adapter to make sure it was secured, the adapter would slip off. When we were having these issues, I did notice that the fabric and elastic bands were extremely tight around the adapter slots when we tried to forcefully push the adapter in. The fabric and elastic bands were so tight that it was stopping the adapter from clicking into the slots all the way. At one point, the stroller was folded with the adapter attached. My spouse decided to shake the adapter off the ground, as the stroller was folded, and we noticed that the adapter wasn't slipping off but when we opened up the stroller, the adapter became loose and was easily pulled out. I decided to take the adapter out and loosen up the fabric so I searched how to take the fabric off the stroller. After loosening up the fabric from the bottom of the stroller, attaching the adapter back on, and trying to forcefully pull the adapter off the stroller, the adapter never came off. I also had my spouse try it out and the adapter never budged off. I reassembled the loose fabric back into place and everything was perfectly fine. The adapter was completely attached and stable, and not once did it come off the stroller. Even with the car seat attached, the adapter is 100% durable.**THE SOLUTION SHOULD BE TO LOOSEN UP THE FABRIC TO ALLOW THE ADAPTER TO CLICK INTO THE SLOTS ALL THE WAY**I just got the adapter, Chicco car seat, and the BabyJogger GT2 today and assembled them because I was worried about the issue that they have been having since last year with the adapter not fitting on the stroller. I am proud to say that IT DID WORK! Thank you BabyJogger for fixing the issue! Just to confirm the adapter does fit and install on the stroller for the Chicco adapter, and I can also confirm that the Chicco Keyfit 35 DOES snap into the adapter just like the KeyFit 30. A beautifully assembled and working travel system after hours and hours of research, cannot wait for the baby to get here to be able to use it and stop driving it around my living room empty!...it's a little complicated. As some have pointed out, this adapter does not work well with the updated City Mini 2 (and others as well) due to the elastic/fabric around the connection points no longer being flexible enough to allow for the connections to click properly into place.There IS a workaround - you just need to slide out the bottom fabric of your stroller seat (or remove the fabric entirely if you want, but you can get away with just the bottom - see the manual for instructions or look it up on Youtube). This will allow for more flexibility in the fabric opening to get the adapter to click in properly. If you have a small baby and expect to use your Chicco car seat most of the time anyway, this may not be a big issue for you. If you have a larger child or two kids of different sizes and want to be able to quickly switch between the car seat adapter and the normal stroller seat, then obviously this isn't an ideal workaround because there's quite a few small steps to reattach and tighten the seat fabric.So it's not impossible, just a little complicated. The benefit of using this method is that you get what seems to be a highly rated stroller paired with a highly rated car seat, which may be worth the minor trade off in convenience for some people.I purchased a City Mini GT2 in November 2021, and the adapter in December 2021 so that I could use the stroller with the Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat. Before buying the stroller and car seat, I made sure to purchase equipment that was compatible. The adapter is impossible to install. Based on recent reviews made here on Amazon and the Baby Jogger site, this is apparently a known issue and has to do with the stroller seat cover.UPDATE 03/01/2022: I called Baby Jogger and they sent me a video and instructions on how to loosen the stroller seat such that the adapter can be snapped into place. The fix was very simple, and I'll be able to easily put the seat back in place once I no longer need to use the car seat with the stroller. Now that I can snap the car seat in place, I quite like the stroller, but I'm only giving 3 stars since I still feel this is a flaw that is poorly addressed by the manufacturer. It would be nice if they updated their instructions or posted a notice to their webpage such that you didn't have to speak to a representative to find a solution. I also had to call twice because the first representative I spoke to wasn't aware of the solution and instead asked me to submit documentation to get a replacement under warranty; when I called back, the representative knew exactly what my problem was and helped me fix it.This adapter is perfect for install my Cybex Cloud Z I size in my Baby Jogger Elite 2, so easy to click in and out, but safely when clip together, the car seat is a bit wobbly, mean rock a tiny bit, little one doesn't seems to bother at all, manage to make more tight fit with the reclining fabric from the strollerFantastic for my baby jogger city mini2. Easy to use with maxi cosi car seat.Works perfectly with Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat.
