Our 3 yr old was showing a lot of interest in marbles, so we wanted to get him a nice marble run. Others that we saw had a cheap plastic look to them. This one is so colorful and I love the solid wood quality.We have been playing with it a lot for the past month and here are my thoughts:- Print out the instructions online so that you get some ideas for building.- It's a little tipsy for clumsy 3 yr old hands. Our 5 yr old loves it as well though.- After about a week of following instructions, we're now making our own without problem.I would definitely recommend for 3 and up.
